From the narrow paths of a refugee camp to the wide skies of America, Ayee Johnny’s journey is the story of what happens when hope meets hard work — and when one heart dares to dream beyond the fences.

Arriving in the U.S. in 2009, he became the first in his family to graduate high school — and later, the first to attend college. That single step changed everything. Today, one of his brothers proudly serves in the U.S. Space Force, while another earned his private pilot’s license.

From a small tent to the sky itself — that’s the power of inspiration.But Ayee’s heart was never just focused on success — it was focused on service.Elected as a Karenni Youth Leader, he has spent years organizing events like December to Remember, keeping the flame of culture, unity, and pride burning bright for young Karenni around the world.

In 2017, he returned to Shadaw, Karenni State, to host a soccer tournament that brought joy, laughter, and pride back to his homeland. “Standing there, seeing hundreds of youth play together — it was one of the proudest moments of my life,” he says.

Professionally, Ayee has always been about helping people rise. As a Career Planner, he guided hundreds toward better jobs and futures. As an interpreter, he gave people a voice. And as a manager, he led with kindness and strength.Today, he stands tall as a Karenni entrepreneur — founder of Kayah Roofing LLC and Puh-po Home Care Services, two businesses built from dedication and compassion.

Through it all, Ayee Johnny proves that true success isn’t just about what you build — it’s about who you lift.
